The failure on organization presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24th, 2021 as agreed on during the Geneva Dialogue in February 2021created a major crisis in Libya.
This has enhanced the chances of more fragmentation, division and armed confrontation. Also, the main concern was that the Libyan Public Opinion will lose hope and trust in the democratic reform.
The Centre invited intellectuals, experts, professionals, social figures, trade unionists, women representatives and businessmen from Eastern, Western and Sothern regions, to a three-day brainstorming meeting from April 15 to 17, 2022 in Istanbul.
The meeting allowed to build a diversified team that agreed to work on a national charter in the hope that it would lay solid foundation to build national consensus.
